We're back again to host a one-day event at Kulturzentrum LUISE ! A place where you are empowered to develop communication skills while networking with like-minded professionals from Munich and its neighbouring cities.

This year, we are featuring the Toastmasters Speech Contest of District 95, Division D, where talented speakers from diverse backgrounds and professions will wow you with their unique personal stories in both English and German.

Your journey includes an inspiring keynote address, thought-provoking panel discussion, and interactive activities - all curated to enhance your professional development, foster meaningful connections, and help you become the "successful" communicator and public speaker you aspire to be!

Program Overview

Our program is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their confidence and techniques in presenting their ideas, refine their public speaking skills, whether it is in front of a small group or at a large event.

* The evaluation speakers in this session will show you the techniques to deliver an impactful English/German presentation, focusing on areas such as content development and effective use of physical and vocal elements.

    Age restriction

    While there is no age restriction, attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the event due to unrestricted speech topics, content, and language.

    About the venue

    Our venue at Kulturzentrum LUISE is only 10 minutes away from MĂĽnchen Hbf by U-bahn. The theatre has a seating capacity for 100 people. Kulturzentrum LUISE is a cultural hub for a variety of community engagement projects. It offers a wide range of art workshops, concerts, theatre performances, and exhibitions.     When Mel first moved to Germany in 2003 for an IT consulting project, he found himself in a terrifying situation—he was paralyzed by the fear of public speaking.
